February Wrap-Up

NStay in and (1)ow that I’ve been doing this for a year, I have to think of a new opener!

In my monthly wrap-ups, you can get a quick recap of what I’ve read and currently reading, all the posts that have been published on this blog with dates and links, as well as a personal update at the very bottom! You’ll get the previous month wrap-up as the first post of every month.

Books I’ve Read & Currently Reading:

Since the beginning of February, the weight of college had finally began crushing down on me. I really didn’t get much reading done this month–at least, as much as I wanted to. Since the last post, I finished everything that I was currently reading: Once & Future by Amy Rose Capetta and Cori McCarthy was amazing, and I Bloodwitch (The Witchlands, #3)100% recommend. I also finished Not Your Villian by C.B. Lee, which wasn’t as good as the first book, but was still entertaining. I also finished The Brilliant Death by Amy Rose Capetta, which was really good, and I can’t wait for the sequel.

Currently, though, I’m reading Bloodwitch by Susan Dennard, which is the most recent book in the Witchlands series, and I’m fairly excited! It’s a big book though, so it might take me a while! I’m also reading Ruse by Cindy Pon, but I haven’t gotten too far into it so I don’t have much to say about it. HOWEVER the very first chapter covers the end of Want, and it was painful. Lastly, I’m reading So You Want to Be a Robot by A. Merc Rustad. I’m really enjoying all of the stories so far, and I can’t wait to read more. I’m reading a story a day for this collection though, so I’m hoping to start reading Not Even Bones by Rebecca Schaeffer.

Personal Updates:

Like I mentioned above, school started again and it went terribly. I had my first panic attack in a long time, and found myself working on three essays all at once. Some friendships got strained, I’m constantly sleep-deprived, and all I want to do is hug some cats. Despite that, I’ve been reading here and there and have been getting some sleep.

Besides school being overwhelming, not much else has happened. I’ve applied to a few jobs for next year, applied to a few scholarships, and that’s about it. I hope that I’ll have more to tell you next time!

Oh! Actually, the last thing is that this blog finally hit 250 followers! I’ve been trying to hit that milestone for a while, but we finally have! I might do something for it, or I might just wait for a larger milestone to do something. We’ll see!
