When I was searching around for new things to do on this blog, I stumbled upon my friend Laura’s blog, Green Tea and Paperbacks. On her blog, a few times she had done quizzes, and that’s when I decided that I wanted to try to make one myself. Go check out Laura’s blog first, though, because it’s amazing!
Before I send you over to the quiz, I want to go over the 6 results you could get from this quiz. You can choose yourself from what I write below, or you can go ahead and take the quiz for yourself. It’s the first quiz I’ve made, but I had a lot of fun with it, and I hope to make more soon in the future. It was a lot of work though, so maybe not too often!
Either way, here are the 6 results that you can get:
#1: Mask of Shadows by Linsey Miller
If y’all don’t know this, Mask of Shadows is one of my favorite books ever. It’s such a delicious fantasy novel, and I can’t not recommend it. Mask of Shadows is a duology, followed by Ruin of Stars, and I highly recommend both of them. The protagonist, Sallot, is genderfluid, and Linsey handles the representation masterfully.
#2: The Rules and Regulations for Mediating Myths and Magic by FT Lukens
This book came to a complete surprise to me. I read this book on a whim, not really knowing anything about it. I ended up losing it though, reading this book. It was so funny, and the characters were so creative. Lukens put so much into each character, not just the main ones. I ended up loving this book so much more than I was expecting, and I highly recommend it. Especially if you’re looking for a laugh!
#3: Reign of the Fallen by Sarah Glenn Marsh
This book is so intense in the ways you would never expect. There is a lot of handling of grief and addiction in this book, even though the main reason I read this book was queer necromancers. Sarah handled the topics very well, and I often found myself crying because of the content of this book. It’s such a good read, but you have to be ready for all of the curve balls it will throw at you.
#4: Dreadnought by April Daniels
I love me some superhero books, but when it includes a transgender protagonist, it’s even better. Danny experiences a lot of transphobia, so beware of that before diving into this book. But being written by a transgender author, the representation and Danny’s experiences are so much more authentic and visceral. The superhero story was amazing, too.
#5: Timekeeper by Tara Sim
Not only is this such a clever idea, but it was executed so well. The characters were amazing, and I was constantly rooting for the protagonists. There were so many twists and turns that were heart wrenching, and that ending. I still haven’t read the rest of the series, but I think I’m just afraid to see what else Tara will inflict on them.
#6: Daughter of the Burning City by Amanda Foody
I read this book only knowing that there was an asexual character involved, and I have to admit–Amanda Foody was able to blow me away with everything else. It was fascinating to read a fantasy story based in a carnival, where you learned the carnival like a city even though it moved. This book was so entrancing, and the mystery was so, so shocking!
So, now that you’ve been introduced to the results, here’s the quiz! I hope you all enjoy it!

Please let me know what you think in the comments! I would love to hear what you have to say, especially because this is my first quiz. I’m already thinking of more quizzes I could do.
