October Wrap-Up

Stay in and

This year, I’ve decided to start doing monthly wrap-ups. You can look forward to these posts on the first of every month, with the previous month being discussed.

Deciding what I wanted to include in these posts was hard, but in each of these, you’ll find: books I’ve read this month, posts published, as well as news (be it personal or public). Enjoy!

Books I’ve Read:

I’ve had a bit more luck this month in reading. While last month I only read three books, and had started a few that I were starting and then putting aside. I also wanted to read a bunch of spooky books, so I had a small TBR laid out (that I didn’t really follow). So, this Alice + Freda Forever: A Murder in Memphismonth, I started with The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw, and followed that up with a true crime novel called The Case of the Zodiac Killer by Michael Morford and Michael Ferguson. I then finally finished Undead Girl Gang by Lily Anderson, which was a riot. Then came The Owls Have Come to Take Us Away by Ronald L. Smith. I took a break from the spooky, and tried out Gender Failure by Rae Spoon and Ivan E. Coyote, as well as That’s Not What Happened by Kody Keplinger. Finally, I just recently finished Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton.

I’m currently reading City of Ghosts by Victoria Schwab, Alice + Freda Forever by Alexis Coe, Some Girls Bind by Rory James, and The Case of the Golden State Killer by Michael Morford and Michael Ferguson.

Considering how much homework I’ve had, I’m surprised that I was able to read so much this month.

Published Posts:

I’ve been struggling to keep this going, but I created a blog schedule so hopefully I’ll be able to continue on as usual. Posts will be published on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, with the three day break allowing me to create a few posts for the next week. So far, it’s been working well, so I hope that I can just stay caught up in the future.

Misc. News

Aahh, I don’t know what there is to say. Something I’m widely proud of is that I hired Aimal @ Bookshelves and Paperbacks to do my header and logo, and I’m honestly in love with her work. I’ve also gotten back into reading audiobooks and knitting, so I’ve been cranking out some scarves and made my first hat (even though it was too small)!

I haven’t been as active on twitter recently, and I really miss it, but I’ve been spending the time I normally spend on twitter doing homework, and I’ve been surprisingly productive.
