So, I was looking around to see if there were any fun tags to do, and I happened to come across this one! It looked like something I’d enjoy, AND it’s perfect timing.
The Fall Book Tag was created by Shanah at Bionic Book Worm!
Want by Cindy Pon
While I’m like most people in which I need a good dose of dystopia now and then, Want was probably one of the best I’ve ever read. Not only is it the first dystopia that I’ve read that didn’t take place in the US, but it was also the first that featured POC. The plot was also extremely unique, where instead of the earth being destroyed by some outside source, it’s being polluted by humans.

The Tiger’s Watch by Julia Ember
I had a lot of fun with this read, but I really didn’t see that ending coming? I was on the edge of my seat throughout this entire book, expecting one thing, and then BOOM. The ending came and I was in shock.
Julia has always been one of my favorite writers, but this one just solidified that.

The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue by Mackenzi Lee
Whenever I think of this book, I giggle. Not even joking. I’m not a big historical or romance reader, but this one was absolutely outstanding. Not only were Monty and Percy an adorable couple, but I loved their adventures and even Monty’s sister Felicity. I was worried that I would be disappointed, but I was not.

Not Your Sidekick by C.B. Lee
Not only does it have a fun cover, but the story is just as fun as it looks. Jess is Chinese-Vietnamese, and she has a crush on Abby, the star vollyball player at her school. But she takes an internship with some villains, to annoy her parents, who are heroes! I cannot recommend this story enough, and the second one was just released as well (Not Your Villain)!

Mask of Shadows by Linsey Miller
I DON’T KNOW IF YOU’RE TIRED OF ME TALKING ABOUT THIS ONE YET BUT HOOOOO BOY.
I’ll put it simple: the ending didn’t blow me away–THE WHOLE THING BLEW ME AWAY. I just can’t stop thinking about this book. I look at my shelves, and see my copy, and I have flashbacks to the pure epicness of this book.

IT DOESN’T HAVE A COVER YET BUT MASK OF SHADOWS (THE ABOVE NOVEL) #2, WHICH IS TITLED RUIN OF STARS, IS PROBABLY MY #1 MOST ANTICIPATED READ OF ALL TIME. Y’ALL DON’T REALIZE HOW MUCH THIS BOOK MEANS TO ME.
I probably won’t be tagging anyone, but this was really fun! If you want to do this tag, just say I tagged you and have a bit of the fun!
