The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by The Caffinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to recap the week, and also to look forward to the next week. Basically, updates! (Due to posting schedules, my Sunday Post will be posted every 3 weeks!)
Recent News:
With the recent American political shitshow, I’ve really been burying myself in books. Since January 1st, I’ve already read 10 books, most of which I enjoyed. I had one or two one stars in there, but a few five stars too.
I ordered Adam Silvera’s books History Is All You Left Me and More Happy Than Not with Christmas money. I also got a copy of The Abyss Surrounds Us, which is probably one of my favorite books ever.
Speaking of TASU, I got accepted for an ARC of the sequel!! I’ve already finished it, and guys. You will LOVE IT. I also got accepted for an ARC of Want by Cindy Pon, of which I am soooooo excited for. I plan to read it soon, along with a reread of one of my favorite sci-fi series, The Expanse.
Also, this is probably my last Sunday Post. I changed my scheduling, and I probably won’t be able to shove in any more of these without less reviews and discussion posts. It was fun while it lasted!

(02/17) Do Problematic Books Reflect on the Author?
I can totally relate to burying yourself in books right now haha. The current political climate is one dystopian world I do not like being in. “Do problematic books reflect on the author?” sounds like a great post. Can’t wait to read it!
So far it has been working! The trick is to avoid the dystopian genres…And thanks! The post has some editing, but I can’t wait to have it out in the world 😀
I can absolutely agree with feeling the need to just unplug from the world sometimes and bury your nose in a book – we all have to fight the good fight, but that sometimes means taking a break and refreshing your mind and soul with a book!
