The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by The Caffinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to recap the week, and also to look forward to the next week. Basically, updates! (Due to posting schedules, my Sunday Post will be posted every 3 weeks!)

Recent News:

Package update: The package I was waiting for since early November finally came, and with it: Not Your Sidekick by C.B. Lee! I’m so excited to read this one, as I’ve heard nothing but good things. Author Julia Ember was an angel to send this to me, and I’m honored to have been able to speak with her and read her novels. Go check out my review of her Unicorn Tracks, as well as add her upcoming novels The Tiger’s Watch and The Seafarer’s Kiss to your TBRs!! All are incredibly diverse and lovely.

Because of the holidays, I also ordered a few books I’ve been wanting to own and/or read. I finally got a copy of Thanks a Lot, John LeClair, written by Johanna Parkhurst, as well as her other novel Here’s to You, Zeb Pike. I also ordered copies of Acension by Jacqueline Koyangi and Sorcerer to the Crown by Zen Cho. All of the books I bought are diverse in some way, and I’m so excited to read all of them.

I was also gifted with copies of The Thousandth Floor (McGee), Of Fire and Stars (Coulthurst), The Hatching (Boone), Babylon’s Ashes (Corey), and Gemina (Kaufman & Kristoff). I was also active on #BooksforTrade and traded for copies of The Vicious Deep (Córdova), Last Seen Leaving (Roehrig), Avalon (Arnett), and Shatter Me (Mafi). So far only The Vicious Deep has come in, but I know the people I traded with, so I’m confident I’ll be getting those other books.

And with the Happy New Year, comes the 2017 reading challenge!! Are any of you doing it? My goal, as usual, is 50 books, although my *unofficial* goal is 100. The closest I’ve come to that is 81, but I wasn’t blogging then, and I noticed that when I started blogging, my reading increased. So, maybe this year is the year I break 100! Can’t wait to find out.
