Pokemon Go! Book Tag

I found this book tag created by Aentee over at Read at Midnight, and just had to try it. They even made all these amazing graphics! (I even noticed that they do graphic commissions, so just in case any of you are interested…)

Into the Wild (Book one of Warriors) by Erin Hunter, and The Ruins of Gorlan (Book one of the Ranger’s Apprentice) by John Flanagan. Both children books, but they still helped start my love (and dependency) on reading!

Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien! I wasn’t expecting to love Frankenstein as much as I did, and LOTR is, and always will be, amazing in my eyes.

The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins, as well as Throne of Glass, A Court of Thorns and Roses, any book by John Green, Six of Crows, Shadow and Bone (I actually read this book, and couldn’t understand the hype), The Wrath and the Dawn, An Ember in the Ashes, and any book by Cassandra Clare. And that’s just the short list.

I’m not sure, to be honest. The only book that I can think of that I pushed myself through the tropes was The Lunar Chronicles, but while I liked it when I read it, my opinion of the series slowly dropped ’til I could barely stand it.

The Stormlight Archives by Brandon Sanderson. There’s only two books out, but they’re both over 1,000 pages long…

I haven’t been able to find truly scary books yet, but some that came close were: Horrorstor by Grady Hendrix, And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie, and 77 Shadow Street by Dean Koontz.

At the moment, it has to be Siri/Susebron in Warbreaker by Brandon Sanderson.

Not exactly “fast-paced”, but We Were Liars was a really quick, amazing read that shook me to my core.

Ranger’s Apprentice by John Flanagan, and Riyria by Michael J. Sullivan. RA has a companion series as well as a prequel series, while Riyria has a prequel series and a legends series. I honestly can not wait for more.

I was not expecting to enjoy The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb as much as I did. One of my favorites, and I can’t wait to continue to read the rest of the series.

The Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson, and The Raven Cycle by Maggie Steifvater.

The leather bound editions of A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin!!! Those are such pretty editions, and every time I see them, my mouth waters…

Unicorn Tracks by Julie Ember and We Awaken by Calista Lynne! I own both because of reviews, and honestly can’t wait to start reading them. Not sure if these count because they’re already out, but I’m just so excited to start them!!

Dean Koontz! Have only disliked one or two of his novels, and he’s the one who got me into book ‘collecting’.

The Winds of Winter by George R.R. Martin, Ride the Storm by Dean Koontz, Tiger’s Watch by Julie Ember, The Thorn of Emberlain by Scott Lynch, A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab, and Babylon’s Ashes by James S.A. Corey.
